A 75-year-old California man went under while swimming in a Wright County lake and drowned, authorities said Monday.
Edward Solomon, of Menlo Park, was swimming in Sugar Lake in Corinna Township late Saturday afternoon. After going under water, bystanders pulled him to shore and began efforts to revive him, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Emergency responders then took over before Solomon was taken to St. Cloud Hospital, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Solomon died Sunday.
