Amy Carducci ? WOMA Member | TheWOMA.com

One of Amy?s first memories is of waking up in the Great Smokey Mountains camping with her parents. From camping and hiking to early morning fishing with her father, Amy felt at home in the woods by a creek. As Amy grew so did her interests in outdoor activities from archery at summer camp to a position on a 4-H BB team as well as a marksmanship class in college. Sharing her love for the outdoors has always been a constant for Amy.

Amy?s interest in handguns began when she met her husband Danny Carducci eight years ago. Amy enjoys spending time at the range not only with her husband but her female friends as well. She has competed in Steel Challenges and will enter her first USPSA match in 2011.

Last year Danny and Amy formed a website Carducci Tactical. This website offers unbiased information to help shooters navigate in the competitive shooting sports as well as reviews for hunting, guns and tactical gear. Amy began her writing career at 15 working for her local hometown newspaper. Writing about firearms was a natural progression. As their blog grows so does Amy?s knowledge and enthusiasm for all things related to the shooting sports.

From supporting the National Wild Turkey Foundation and the NRA, to helping at local matches, Amy believes in education and conservation. ?Knowledge is power? is a phrase Amy holds dear to her heart and feels women should feel comfortable with firearms as well as self-defense skills. Amy writes from a women?s perspective for their blog. Amy and her husband make their home in Marietta when they are not out on the range.
