MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers hit four home runs yesterday on their way to an 8-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. Ryan Braun, Corey Hart, Carlos Gomez and Martin Maldonado all went deep for the Brewers. Edwin Encarnacion hit his 20th homer of the season for Toronto.

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (AP) -- Driver Eric McClure has received medical clearance to resume racing when the NASCAR Nationwide Series visits Road America this weekend. McClure has missed the last six races after he sustained a concussion and internal bruising in an accident at Talladega Superspeedway. Nationwide races at Road America in Wisconsin on Saturday.

DETROIT (AP) -- Jake Westbrook pitched his first complete game since May 2010 in the St. Louis Cardinals' 3-1 win over the Detroit Tigers last night. Westbrook allowed five hits and struck out five for his sixth victory of the year. Austin Jackson drove in the Tigers' only run with an RBI double.

CLEVELAND (AP) -- Justin Masterson recorded his first complete game of the season in the Cleveland Indians' 8-1 rout over the Cincinnati Reds last night. Asdrubal Cabrera and Johnny Damon homered for the Indians and Lonnie Chisenhall added three RBIs. The Reds plated their lone run on a Willie Harris groundout in the eighth.
