FOOTBALL Hollys Papuga ready to cap off amazing year in MHSFCA All-Star Game

Holly HS's Page All Football Stories When looking at his week among high school football stars, Holly High School graduate Evin Papuga is seeing the glass half-full.

?I can?t name a thing that?s going wrong,? he said.

And what could be going wrong? As the first person ever from Holly to be selected to play in the Michigan High School Football All-Star Game, Papuga is looking forward to showing off his skills on Saturday in front of family and Broncho fans.

Practically serving as a Mr. Do-it-all on his team, this game is just another one of his accomplishments in his thrilling senior year. When looking back all the way to the fall, Papuga has one distinct memory from the gridiron that will not leave him for a while.

?We won the Metro League title, and it came down to the last game of the season,? Papuga said.

That title-winning game will hardly be his last, as he signed to become a Huskie when he attends Michigan Tech in the fall. While he enjoyed interacting with the coaching staff, the atmosphere around Michigan Tech is what did him in.

?I went up there and immediately fell in love with it,? Papuga said. ?I?m an outdoors guy, and it was just really scenic up there.?

Before Papuga straps up for the Huskies, he will be playing his last high school game this Saturday at Grand Valley State University.
